Description
A flapper valve ABS is a device that is used to control the flow of fluid in a plumbing or other fluid-handling system. In this instance when closed it helps create maximuim suction for the vacuum. It consists of a valve body with a movable part, known as a flapper, that opens and closes to regulate the flow of fluid. The term “1 1/2” refers to the size of the valve, which has a diameter of approximately 1 1/2 inches. The term “ABS” refers to the material of the valve, which is made of a type of plastic known as acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene. ABS is a strong, durable, and lightweight material that is resistant to impact, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
